How To Submit Proposals

The Generalists in Medical Education is seeking proposals for the 2009 Annual Meeting

This year's theme will be Medical Education: Maintaining Momentum in Challenging Times. The 2009 annual meeting will be held November 6th and 7th 2009 at the Hilton Boston Back Bay in Boston, MA.

Proposals for Problem-Solving, Descriptive, Panel Discussion, Skills Acquisition Sessions, and Common Interest Roundtable Discussions (descriptions below), should be submitted via our electronic submission system. We encourage submissions of proposals relating to the conference theme; however, all submissions will receive careful consideration. Proposals must be submitted to the Generalists Conference only. Proposals that promote personal/commercial enterprises will not be accepted.

Audiovisual Support

We will attempt to provide flip charts, markers, and projectors (slide and overhead). A projection system will be available in at least one of the presentation rooms. Presenters needing other equipment should plan on obtaining the equipment they need through their own sources.

All presenters and co-presenters are expected to pay their registration fee.

You may submit more than one proposal. However, except in unusual circumstances, the program will include only one presentation in which you are the first author or major presenter.

Proposals must be received by May 11th. We expect notification of acceptance will be sent out by August 1st .
